I am Cal.

The name of my blog is LifewithCal.

This is because I write about life.  As I set out to write a blog, I couldn’t commit to writing about one specific thing.  Here is a list of some of the things that inspire me, and I like to write about.

  • People (of all ages)
  • My family- husband, 4 children, and 1 Goldendoodle
  • Innocence
  • Strength
  • Courage
  • Memories
  • Beauty (in all things)
  • Style (so many kinds, and I can appreciate all of them!)
  • Individuality
  • Sports
  • Smiles
  • My Dad~ I mention this last, but it is definitely not least.  He continues to inspire me daily even though he is not with us anymore.  He passed away in October 2010.  I believe I began writing again as a way to keep his spirit alive.  He is a part of everything I write about.

All of the tags I just listed fit under the umbrella of “life,”  and so my blog name starts with the word “Life.”

I want you to enjoy what I write and feel as if you are joining me on my journey, and so- the word “with.”

My name is Carolyn, but growing up, and still today, I am called  “Cal” by a special and small group of people.  To me, it is a term of endearment, and so I chose to use it in my title…it just feels good!

My tagline: mother of 4, person of 1.  It is challenging managing the lives of 4 children, while trying to maintain your own identity as an individual.  This is true for all parents, and I like to remember to mix it up when I decide on topics to write about.  It keeps me sane!

So there you have it.  Welcome to LifewithCal.

That’s me!

Dedicated to Robert Alexander Kramich.  ~Father of 3, person of 1.

Favorite of many.
