fiesta! new england tradition

Gloucester, MA.  Summer 2012.

In 1998 my parents bought a small, run down house by Good Harbor Beach, now referred to with anticipatory pride as The Beach House.  My father tirelessly worked to follow his dream of owning a home on the ocean, and created a haven that we escape to every summer.  St. Peter’s Fiesta has been a tradition in Gloucester, MA for years, and I captured a few moments to keep for myself from this weekend.  There is a bell mounted on the wall as you enter the house, and every summer, countless times, little hands ring it as a reminder that Dad is with us.  Come in!  Come in!

Summertime.
